iF - The International Forum Design Hannover GmbH - is offering the first-ever iF Design Award China, to be presented at CeBIT Asia 2003. The award is targeted at manufactures and designers who are active in the Chinese market. By establishing the iF design award.China, iF and its partners aim to support the extremely fast-growing design scene in China and demonstrate what Chinese design is currently capable of as well as its future potential. The goal is to acknowledge existing achievements and stimulate future ones. The important role played by design in the commercial success of a modern company will be made clear to Chinese businesses and manufacturers, ensuring greater integration of the theme of design there.
