OUR CONSIDERATION ABOUT THE DESIGN PRINCIPLE
In the face of environmental pollution, the destruction of ecological resources and the economic crisis, the National University Students Master Designer Award committee embraces the need for the development of society. Hence, this year’s competition is about "simple" designs, which offer creative ideas and new values for a modern life.

Originality:the design should have a strong connotation of innovation
Functional:the design should be user-friendly and its function as intended
Application:the design is expected to have a practical application, either as a product or a service
Continuity:the design should take into account new technologies and the application of new materials to promote energy saving and environmental protection
Aesthetic:The design should be aesthetic

OUR GOAL
To inspire students’ creativity and concerns for the patterns of life through simple and economical creative design, and to create a social atmosphere of innovation. To build a platform, which unites higher learning, the government, businesses and the market place of commercial design. To explore and create a Chinese-style of "simple & economical" innovation.
