| Good Design Award 2006 Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization
The Good Design Awards commemorate the 50th anniversary of its establishment in 2006. Good Design Award is Japan's only design evaluation and commendation system. The award has recommended over 30,000 products with fine design quality in areas such as products, architecture, communications, and new spheres.
The G-Mark, which is awarded to Good Design Award winners, is familiar to large number of people as a symbol of outstanding design; its recognition ratio exceeds 86% within Japan. On this 50th anniversary occasion we are working to promote the G-Mark internationally through activities such as an exhibition in Milan to raise its value even further.
The benefits of the Good Design Awards are not limited just to winning an award. Japan”Ēs largest design event, the Good Design Presentation, will be held during the judging process and offers the opportunity to present your design in a venue that enables large number of people to explore your design. We welcome you to participate in the Good Design Award as an opportunity for business development and commercial exploitation of your design.
Please see our Web site at www.g-mark.org for more information. We look forward to your participation.
