Art.1 竞赛宗旨及主题
Rubinetteria WEBERT srl launches publicly a contest for the industrial design of an innovative, feasible and manufacturable serie of single-lever mixer taps for bathrooms. The projects designed especially for the contest will have to mix aesthetic and functional values. They will also have to conceive the shape of a serial industrial product, adapted to its practical function.

1.1. Product features 设计在线.中国
The serie of mixers will consist of: washbasin, bath-tub mixer with hand-shower and a conceiled shower mixer with built-in shower head. The mixer should use a “standard mixer cartridge”. – The tap series must be of single-lever type.

Art. 2 评委组成
The Jury will consist of worldwide Design representatives, journalists and technicians. The Jury will judge and award the projects considered feasible for the manufacturing after a prototype of the same has been actually made. The award ceremony will take place in September 2006 at the exhibition “Cersaie” in Bologna. The prototypes will be presented at the same time. Rubinetteria Webert srl will publish the results of the contest on its website www.webert.it. The winners will be contacted personally via e-mail or by phone.

Art. 3 奖金
The total amount of the prize is euro 3.500 (threethousandfi vehundred) and will be divided as follows:
1° prize 1.500 euro
2° prize 1.000 euro
3° prize 600 euro www.dolcn.com
4° prize 400 euro.
If the contest was to end without a winner, because of lack of suitable projects, the Jury can divide the prize between the projects considered worth some kind of award.

The total amount of the mentioned prizes are:
- net of fi scal deduction and taxes
- net of VAT.
The winners will have to send necessary fi scal documents before they can collect the award prize.
The mentioned prize sum will be given to the winners during the award ceremony mentioned in the article 2.

Art. 4 参赛条件
The participation is open to professional Designers and students of all the design schools and universities.
Members of the Jury, their relatives and the employees of Rubinetteria Webert srl are not allowed to take part at the contest.
Designers will be allowed to participate with diff erent projects, with separate registrations .
The designer bears the responsibility of the originality of his project. It is also possible to participate as a group, appointing one representative of the same. 设计在线.中国

Art. 5 方案
For each project it is necessary to send:
- n. 3 (three) quoted sight drawings;
- n. 1 (one) axonometric or perspective sight drawing ;
- a brief report describing the project and the materials used.
The projects must be presented in A3 size (29,7 x 42 cm) and paper and on cd-rom:

Art. 6 设计转让
The participants cedes Webert the presented projects with every right related, without asking for a reward.
Webert can aesthetically or functionally modify the projects, in order to adapt them to specifi c needs of manufacturing processes and sale.
Only the winners will receive a reward according to the prize scale mentioned in art. 3.

Art. 7 报名截止
The opening date for the registration is 28/02/2006. The expiry date for the registration is 31/05/2006 (according to postmark date).

All the projects presented must be signed by the author and must have the indication of the date. The projects should also show the participant’s data: name, surname, date of birth, nationality, e-mail address, school if student.
