介绍 We are looking forward to submissions from as many students as possible, from around the world, for the student poster competition that will be held concurrently with the 2003 Icograda Congress. Details on the theme and application procedure will be announced on the Congress website (http://www.visualogue.com), scheduled to be updated on 1 April The information file is available for download. 报名时间、参赛资料细则: Thursday, 31 July 2003 (The first date for accepting entries is Sunday, 1 June 2003, for entries from outside Japan, Tuesday, 1 July 2003, for entries from within Japan).
参赛资格: Any individual student, group of students (as of 31 July 2003, the submission deadline) or design educational institute (e.g. graduate schools, universities, colleges, vocational colleges, high schools) may enter.
作品提交: Only the work of the individual or group, unpublished flat posters are eligible. Digitally designed works must be printed to fit the directed size.
尺寸: Only posters that are [515 mm x 728 mm] or greater in size, and which do not exceed [728 mm x 1030mm] in size are eligible.
* Multiple entries: Each applicant or group may submit a maximum of three (3) poster series. Each series must consist of no more than three (3) posters. Single posters may also be entered, and series of less than three (3) posters are also permitted.
奖项、奖金: Grand Prize (one award): YEN 1 million (approx.U.S. $8 520 as of March, 2003), Gold Prize (one award): YEN 300 000 (approx. $2,560), Silver Prize (three awards): YEN 100 000 (approx. $850) each, Bronze Prize (five awards): YEN 50 000 (approx. $430) each, MENIO Prize (limited number of awards): YEN 200 000 (approx. $1,700) each, Special Prize (two awards): a memento for each recipient, Award of Merit (twenty awards): a certificate for each recipient, Honourable Mention (seventy awards): a certificate for each recipient.
Note that the sponsors will pay for the Congress registration fee for all prize and award winners (excluding Honorable Mention winners). All award-winning posters will be exhibited in conjunction with the Congress, and will be displayed on the event website. The award ceremony & Design forum will be held in Nagoya on Saturday, 11 October 2003.
评委: A panel of five Japanese judges will make the first stage selections. For the second stage a panel of five judges, that includes three Japanese nationals and two foreign nationals, will determine the award winners.
