Golden Bee 6, Moscow International Biennale of Graphic Design

From 1992 to 2000 the important design event held in Moscow – Golden Bee Moscow International Biennale of Graphic Design. Golden Bee collected in the Central Artists Hall the best world achievements in graphic design. It promoted a deepening of the international cooperation, increased of the cultural status of graphic design, helped escalating of a creative level and spiritual potential of a profession, served formation of high valuable orientations, showed the tendency of development of modern visual culture and was the catalyst of it's development. In 2002 realization of Biennale was suspended. In 2004 under the initiative of the company "Expo-Park Exhibition projects" and at support of some the Moscow design studios and companies Golden bee renews the flights.

Any projects in the field of graphic design in which typography play a part of a basis of the design decision.
(3). 学生设计
Any educational projects in the field of graphic design including multimedia. Works should be supplied with the description of the educational task (in free form, not more 200 words in English). Necessary indicate teacher, the name of educational institution and year.
(4). "反恐"
Thematic nomination of Biennale devoted to the most actual problem of the modernity. This special project must be an answer of designers of the world to a call of time. Any products of graphic design.

参赛条件 
Works of 2000-2004. No special format or printing technique are requied. No participation fee. Number of entries unlimited. Entry form and Entry Label must be filed in block letters. The headings of works must be translated to English. One label per entry must be attached to the back of pieces with adhesive tape (don’t glue!). Make a copy of the Entry Form if necessary or print from site of Biennale. For reproduction in the catalogue all works should be supplied with slides, transparencies or electronic versions on CD (300 dpi, 10?15, CMYK + fonts). Authors of the selected works will be published by Selection Committee on a site of Biennale. The works and transparencies will not be returned. They will remain to collections of Golden Bee Biennale. Organizers gratuitously have the right to use competitive works in non-commercial aims.

Each nomination has Golden Bee Award Diplomas and a number of Special Awards.

展览 
The main exhibition of Golden Bee Biennale will pass in the Central Artists Hall (September, 1–10, 2004). The exhibition will open every day not including Monday.

Exhibition program
In the Central Artists Hall the main parallel event of Golden Bee Biennale will take place – exhibition “Design and Polygraphy” (September, 7–10, 2004). The program of Biennale includes also personal exhibitions of the members of the international jury and a number of accompanying exhibitions and actions in Moscow museums and galleries.

Lectures
Each member of the International jury will give the 45-minutes lecture on September, 8, 2004 at 14:00–18:00 in an auditorium of Central Artists Hall for participants and visitors of an exhibition “Design and Polygraphy”.

Work-shops
Members of the International jury will lead two-day workshops for students of educational institutions of Russia and Ukraine under special invitations.

Award ceremony
September, 9, 2004, at 17:00, Central Artists Hall.

Catalogue
A full-colors catalogue will be published towards the opening of Biennale. Participants will receive 50% discount.
