During May 26 to 28, upon invitation of Organizing Committee of 2006 Dongguan Cup International Industrial Design, Prof. Yanta Lam of Hong Kong Polytechnic Univ. paid a visit to Faculty of Art Design, Guangdong Univ. of Technology, one of the organizing partners for this Event. Prof. Xiangdong Yang, the Dean of Faculty of Art Design, Secretary General Guanhua Xie, together with other staffs arranged a cordial reception for Prof. Lam and gave detailed explanation on the Event preparation under way. Prof. Lam expressed his thoughts and suggestions to the Organizing Committee on the issues of planning, rules and regulations of the Awards and some strategies on the pre-event preparation. During his visit, as one of the senior member of the Organizing Committee and the Jury, Prof. Lam exchanged his views with the heads of the Organizing Committee and the successful meeting has turned out to be of great importance to the Event.
