2007东莞杯国际工业设计大赛初评圆满结束，评委们从本次大赛公开组2432件作品中评选出了入围作品共计217件，并从中挑选出44件作品进入第二轮复评。44件作品分别包括：电子信息类11件；机械类11件；玩具类11件；专题类11件。

44件复评作品将经由网络发给本次大赛终评的评委，从中筛选出27件作品参加终评并制作模型。复评结果将于8月2日前公布，请相关参赛者留意大赛网站。

同时为了杜绝设计竞赛中常见的抄袭、剽窃现象，东莞杯大赛组委会及专家建议网络公示复评作品，确保进入决赛作品的创新性和原创性。44件复评作品将同时在大赛网站www.dgawards.com和设计在线www.dolcn.com公示一周，欢迎各位热爱设计的人士共同指正。如发现有抄袭或雷同现象的参赛作品，请您发送原作图片或能够证明的资料给我们，组委会经调查核实后，将取消该作品参赛资格并网上公布名单。

关于作品专利保护：
本次大赛参赛作品的知识产权归作者所有，大赛对于参赛作品拥有展览权、印刷权和宣传权，同时组委会建议以上参赛者尽快为作品申请专利保护。

Media Announcements for 2007 Dongguan Cup Second Round Screening Candidate Entries

There came a very successful end of the preliminary screening for the 2007 Dongguan Cup International Industrial Design Awards.  217 entries stood out from the 2432 items as candidates for the first round selection, and among them 44 entries were eligible for the second round screening. There are 11 entries from each of the electronic information group, machinery group, toy products group and given topic group.

The second round screening will be conducted via internet, with 44 entries emailed to the jurors for the final selection and 27 entries will go for the grand final. At the same time, the model making information will be available for the final 27 entrants. Results will be announced on August 2.

With its commitment to safeguard the intellectual property rights of each entrant and the originality and innovative features of the entry products, the Organizing Committee and jurors proposed this internet announcement procedure for the candidate entries of second round screening. All 44 candidate entries will be available at the www.dgwards.com and www.dolcn.com for a week and open to all kinds of opinions. If there occurred any plagiarism or repetition, please send us email the original drawings or other evidence, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to withhold the enrollment of that entrant and make the entrant name and products announced via internet.

Intellectual Property Rights Protection:
All intellectual property rights of the entry products shall remain with the entrant designers. The Awards owns the right to exhibition, printing, publishing and promotion. All entrants are reminded to apply for patent protection for your entries as soon as possible.
